80 percent of Basra sports city completed, Youth Undersecretary

BASRA / IraqiNews.com: Youth Ministry Undersecretary stressed today that work in the sports city in Basra is moving smoothly according to its time table. Isam al-Diwan, in a press conference here, disclosed that 80 percent of the project was completed. The project includes a number of playing yards with a capacity of 65.000 spectators, in addition to Tennis and Bowling playgrounds, sports halls, housing complex and other services facilities.
