IFA sues TV channel

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi football Association filed a legal case to sue WAAR Satellite Channel for not paying the cost of rights for broadcasting the matches of the Iraqi Premier Football League of the last season.

Member of IFA Yehya Karim stated to IraqiNews.com “The court in Baghdad/ Rusafa postponed the judgment in this case till another date because the representatives of the channel did not attend the court session.”

“The channels should pay to IFA $ 500,000 which is the sum remaining from the contract concluded by the IFA and the channel,” he added. /End/
