Iraq chooses Dubai as home to face Indonesian football match

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of the Iraqi Football Association Najih Hamoud assured on Saturday that “Iraq chose the UAE as home for playing its matches within the Asian Cup 2015.”

Hamoud stated to IraqiNews.com “The Ahli stadium in Dubai city will host the first match for Iraq against Indonesia on February 6th.”

He added “We have chosen the UAE since we have a large Iraqi community there as well as the facilitations presented by the UAE Association related to granting visas for Iraqi fans.”

The draw of the Asian Cup 2015 put Iraq the champion of 2007 in the third group besides the KSA, China and Indonesia.
