Iraqi sprinters register in training camps

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Deputy Chairman of the Iraqi Athletic Union, Alaa Jaber, stated that “The sprinter Dana Hussein and her coach, Yusif Abd al-Rahman, left on last Thursday to Lebanon to register in a training camp that will last until 27th of March preparing to participate in Asia Championship Cup.”

“The sprinter, Adnan Taes, also registered in a training camp in Ethiopia for whole month preparing to the Arab Championship, which will be held in Qatar on 21st of May,” the statement added.The Head of the Iraqi Union expressed his hope for Dana and Adnan to achieve distinguished position at Arab and international championships,” the statement concluded. \End\
