Naft al-Janoub Club tops Iraqi handball league

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Naft al-Janoub Club preserved its position on top of the Iraqi Handball League after beating Salah-il-Din Club (42-20).

The head of the competitions committee within the Iraqi Handball Union Salam Awad stated to Iraqi News “Naft al-Janoub club continued on top of the Iraqi handball league after beating Salah-il-Din club which lies in the bottom of the league within the second round of the Iraqi handball league.”

He added “Jaish Club continued its chase for Naft al-Janoub club after beating Shurta club (27-26) to stay in the second place.”
