Political assembly holds government, Youth Minister responsibility of losing final match in Khaliji 21st

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Change Supporters Assembly held the government and the Youth and Sport Minister, the responsibility of losing the final match with the UAE National Team for the championship of Khaliji 21st.

The Secretary General of the assembly, Mohammed al-Afandi, stated in a press statement “The loss of the Iraqi National Team against its Emarati counterpart cannot be considered as a loss, but it is a great victory for the Iraqis in spite of the lack of the required facilitations and the support submitted by the government and the Ministry of Youth and Sport.”

“This support was very weak and the government must increase it because this teams raises the name of Iraq in the international communities, but what is surprising is that Iraq has huge budget and do not have developed sport facilities or holding training courses for the team in the other countries,” he added.

He called the government “To submit a claim to the International Union of Football against the referee of the final match for neglecting the mistakes that were for the interest of the Iraqi National Team, but they were changed for the interest of the Emarati team,” calling the parliament to “Investigate all the official regarding the insufficient support for the Iraqi Team.”
