Shaker attributes Iraqi victory for adopting suitable strategy

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The coach of the Iraqi football youth national team, Hakim Shaker, attributed the victory of the team over its Thai counterpart to adopting the strategy of keeping the players relieved and away of any tensions.

Shaker reported in statement published by the Asian Union website on Thursday ”The match was difficult, but, we succeeded to qualify for the quarter final stage within the Asian youth championship because we adopted the strategy of keeping players comfortable and away of any pressures as well as granting the new players an opportunity to play during the first half of the match.”

He added ”The team will miss the player Saif Salman who was suspended for getting two yellow cards.”

He pointed out ”The training cadre of the Iraqi team intended to present new players in each match and we still have some surprises for the next matches.” \
