Sulaimaniya FC officially withdraws from Iraqi Premier League

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi Football Association received, on Tuesday, an official letter from the Administration of Sulaimaniya FC to notify the IFA about its decision of withdrawing from the Iraqi Premier Football League 2014- 2015.

Reliable source reported to IraqiNews.com “IFA received an official letter from Sulaimaniya FC that denotes the withdrawal of Sulaimaniya FC from the Iraqi premier Football League to protest the decision of IFA which considered the club lost in its match versus Naft FC (3-0) as a result for the violence aroused by the fans of the club during the match.”

The letter of the club cited “Negligence of IFA for the complaint raised by Sulaimaniya FC was the main reason behind our decision to withdraw from the football league.” /End/
