Zawra’ Fc wins title of local championship held to support ISF

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Zawra’ FC has won the title of the local championship held by the Iraqi Football Association on Shaab Stadium to show support for the Iraqi Security Forces and volunteers.

Four teams of Zawra’ FC, Jawiya FC, Talaba FC and Shurta FC participated in this local championship.

Zawra’ FC was crowned as the champion of these competitions after beating the Jawiya FC by the kicks from the penalty spot (5-4) at the final match.

Earlier, Zawra’ FC defeated Talaba FC while Jawiya FC defeated Shurta FC to qualify for the final match.

The championship was attended by the chairman of the Iraqi Olympic Committee Falah Hassan and several commanders of the Iraqi Security Forces and volunteers. /End/
