( Baghdad – on Wednesday, Canadian Mounted Police arrested 10 young Canadians, who tried to leave the country in order to join the ISIS militants in Iraq and Syria.

According to Star Times newspaper site, “the police arrested the group in Montreal international airport and their passports had been withdrawn.”

The police announced in an official statement, “We are conducting interviews with the families and relatives of the defendants in this regard.”

Local media sources indicated that, “the father of one of the accused individuals informed the police about the group’s plan , while ISIS is trying to attract young youth from Europe and America through its propaganda.”
