14 killed in demonstrations supporting the Syrian Kurdish town of Kobani

(IraqiNews.com) The battles in the Syrian city of Kobanî sparked the anger of the Kurds in Turkey who demonstrated against Erdogan’s government, which led to clashes that resulted the killing of 14 people in different areas.

On Tuesday, according to Turkish local media, 14 people were killed and a large number of protesters injured in the south-east of Turkey after violent clashes erupted between police and Kurds, who are demonstrating in support of the Syrian Kurdish town of Kobani, which is encircled by militants the so-called the Islamic state in Iraq and Syria (ISIS).
