2 Swedish ISIS elements killed in northern Iraq

(IraqiNews.com) Two Swedish citizens belong to the ISIS organization were killed in northern Iraq, according to sources in an Islamist group from the city of Ebro in central Sweden.

The head of African Association, Mehdi Warsama said, “The two men had traveled several times back and forth between Sweden and Iraq on several occasions.”

The Swedish newspapers ‘Glocal’ stated, “The two men were of Somali origins; their parents had tried to stop them from going to Iraq, but they insisted on going there and joining terrorist groups.”

On his part, head of the Association said that, “We have to prevent other young people from going to this tragic war.”

The Swedish intelligence services have expressed concern over the recruitment of Swedish citizens by terrorist groups.
