 45 Kyrgyz nationals killed during fight in Iraq and Syria

(IraqiNews.com) The Kyrgyz Ministry of Interior announced on Tuesday the killing of 45 Kyrgyz nationals in Iraq and Syria after they had joined the ISIS organization, while noted to the presence of 250 Kyrgyz citizens in the conflict areas in those two countries.

According to the Kyrgyz website “KG 24,” the ministry said in a press statement obtained by IraqiNews.com, “45 Kyrgyz citizens had been killed in Iraq and Syria after their involvement in the ranks of the ISIS organization,” adding that, “122 women and 83 children from Kyrgyzstan live in Iraq and Syria in areas controlled by the organization after they had joined ISIS.”

“63 Kyrgyz families have gone to Iraq and Syria and are still living there,” the statement read.
