5 Turkish soldiers killed, wounded in bomb blast on the Iraqi border

(IraqiNews.com) Local residents in the Turkish town of Sloppy said on Monday, that 5 Turkish soldiers were either killed and injured in a bomb blast that took place near the Iraqi border.

One of the reisdnets, named Juma Saleh, stated for IraqiNews.com, “This afternoon, a bomb exploded targeting a army vehicle belonging to the Turkish army in the Turkish town of Sloppy, located on the Iraqi border,” noting that, “The blast killed 4 soldiers and wounded another.”

He added, “Security forces cordoned off the area and began an investigation into the incident.”
