Arab League calls on Turkey to withdraw its troops from Iraq immediately

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – On Thursday, the Secretary-General of the Arab League Nabil Elaraby called on Turkey to immediately withdraw its forces from Iraq, while praised the military operations carried out by the Iraqi forces to liberate the city of Ramadi.
Elaraby said, “The Turkish forces’ incursion into the Iraqi territory is a clear violation of the international law and they should withdraw immediately,” noting that “Any attack on Iraq or any other Arab country is an attack on all Arab countries.”
Elaraby added, “The Arab League praises the military operations carried out by the Iraqi army to liberate the city of Ramadi from ISIS control.”
