Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Twenty-five people were killed on Wednesday when a suicide attacker targeted a legal authority building in Syrian capital Damascus, DPA reported, quoting security sources.

The agency said the Palace of Justice, in Hamidiya district, is one of the busiest bodies of citizens’ legal services.

The attack comes a few days after a twin bomb attack, carried out by both a suicide bomber and an explosive device, killed 74, mainly Iraqi pilgrims, at a Shia cemetery in Bab al-Saghir, also in Damascus.

Local and international war monitors and rights groups have recently put the death toll since the uprising against Syrian President Bashar al-Assad broke out in 2011 at 465.000 Syrians.
