(IraqiNews.com) On Saturday, The leader of the military council of ‘Kalamoon Revolutionaries’, Maher Al-Arsali said that large numbers of Hezbollah fighters rebelled against their leaders by abandoning the battle fronts and going back to Lebanon with their small arms.

Al-Arsali said, “Hezbollah fighters who rebelled against the party’s decisions have returned with their small arms to Lebanon, in protest for not getting paid for several months and not privileging their dead colleagues’ families, which sparked their anger and had them decide to return to their country, abandoning the battle fronts despite the regime’s attempts in Damascus to dissuade them from leaving, not caring for the party’s decision to punish them as fugitives.”

Al-Arsali added, “It is the first time for such acts to occur in the party’s ranks, which sparked concern and surprise among its leaders,” adding that there is information confirming that the returnees from Hezbollah fighters were among the forces deployed in the rural areas of Damascus—and, there are now other fighters prepared to leave after being fed up with the party’s failure to meet its commitments.
