(IraqiNews.com) Iranian president Hassan Rohani announced on Thursday, to have agreed on the basic standards in the nuclear talks, stressing that the draft writing will begin immediately and end by 30 June.

Rohani said in a comment posted on his Twitter account on Twitter, “It has been agreed on the basic standards in the nuclear talks between Tehran and major powers.”

Rohani added, “The draft writing of the agreement will begin immediately and end by June 30th.”

Iranian officials confirmed on Thursday that the Lausanne negotiations on the Iranian nuclear program are close more than ever to an imminent agreement between Tehran and the West. This comes after extending negotiations for the second day in a row.

The West has sought to curb what it sees as Iran’s nuclear ambitions, while Iran asserts that its nuclear activities are purely peaceful.
