Iranian weapons shipment arrive in Damascus: Izvestia

Damascus ( The Russian newspaper “Izvestia” revealed, on Thursday, that the flow of Iranian weapons to the Syrian regime forces became easier, after the arrival of the security forces and foreign militias to the Iraqi borders.

The newspaper reported that the Syrian regime forces also managed to create a passage to transfer weapons from Iran to Syria through Iraq, in an area located 20 kilometers away from al-Tanf.

“The road linking between the two countries is now opened, and vehicles started to use it,” Izvestia declared.

Syrian government forces announced, earlier, that they reached to the borders with Iraq, after violent battles with the rebels in the Syrian Badiyah.
