Khamenei accuses the United States of helping ISIS in Iraq

(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – Iran’s supreme leader Ali Khamenei has accused on Monday the United States of helping the ISIS in Iraq.

Khamenei said in his remarks during a meeting with Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari on the sidelines of the Summit of Gas Exporting Countries held in Tehran, “the international coalition cannot be trusted at all,” indicating that “the United States and others stand behind the formation of these terrorist groups and its support.”

Khamenei added that, “relying on American and Western cooperation in the fight against terrorist movements, including the ISIS and Boko Haram, is a misconception,” pointing out that “there are accurate information, which reveal that the US support the ISIS organization in Iraq.”
