(IraqiNews.com) Syria – The Syrian state television reported on Thursday that the Syrian Armed Forces announced the fall of one of its warplanes in an area located south of the country.

The Syrian state television reported that, “today, a Syrian warplane has crashed in south of the country and an investigation is underway to determine the causes of the fall.”

Noteworthy, Syrian opposition fighters said, according to Reuters, that they have shot down a Russian-made MiG and posted a short video footage showing what appeared to be a burning aircraft near sites where violent clashes are ongoing around a military air base in southern Syria.
