Obama calls Saudi Arabia to open up and cooperate with Iran in the next phase

(IraqiNews.com) On Sunday, a Saudi newspaper revealed that the US President Barack Obama called  on the Minister of Saudi National Guard, Mitab Bin Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz to work on opening up and normalizing the Saudi-Iranian relations during the next phase.

The ‘Elaph’ newspaper  said in a report followed by IraqiNews.com, “The Saudi delegation may have sensed a rush inside the White House to compromise with Iran,” indicating that “During the meeting President Obama told Prince Mitab several times of the need for openness to Tehran in the next period.”

The newspaper added, “Obama made sure that Prince Mitab delivered this direct message about the Saudi-Iranian relations to his father, King Abdullah.”
