Olympic Games  ceremony starts in London

(IraqiNews.com) The ceremony of 2012 Olympic Games started at the Olympic Stadium east London attended by leaders of more than 100 countries, not including Iraq.

The parade of the opening ceremony was participated by Olympic athletic teams from 204 countries.

The opening ceremony was inaugurated by a review for the musical, social and cultural history of Britain in a dramatic form, directed by the Oscar Award-wining director Danny Boyle.

The opening ceremony is watched by more than billion people around the world.

The festivities are attended by Leaders of more than hundreds States according to the British authorities which expected a record in attendance of kings, Leaders of countries and governments.

It is noteworthy that the ceremony was not attended by the US President Barak Obama and it was attended by his wife Michelle, who arrived on Thursday, evening to Britain before her meeting with members of the U.S. Olympic delegation on Friday, morning.
