PYD Abducts a Kurdish Journalist in Rojava

(BasNews) Armed men belonging to the Rojava (Syrian Kurdistan) ruling party of Democratic Union (PYD) abducted a Kurdish journalist in the region.

Barzan Hussein, a reporter for the Erbil-based Zagros TV was abducted by the PYD forces in Rmelan city in Rojava on Saturday at 12:30 pm local time.

Following the abduction of the Kurdish journalist by PYD, an offshoot of Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK), the activists and civilians launched a campaign on social media, demanding PKK to respect journalists and put an end to the human rights violations.
