Russian airstrikes completely demolish neighborhoods In Deir Ezzor

Deir Ezzor (Syria News) Local sources informed that Russian warplanes carried out air strikes on the residential neighborhoods, in the city of Deir Ezzor, demolishing a number of neighborhoods completely.

The sources revealed that the Russian warplanes conducted heavy air strikes on the neighborhoods of Deir Ezzor, destroying and demolishing several neighborhoods, while pointed out that the air strikes are the most intensive since the beginning of the Russian intervention in Syria.

The sources added that heavy battles are taking place between the Syrian army and Islamic State militants in the neighborhoods of Huwaiqa and Rashdya, in Deir Ezzor City.

Meanwhile, Syrian regime helicopters dropped explosive barrels on the residential neighborhoods in the town of Salhya, located in the countryside of Deir Ezzor, causing significant damage to civilians’ properties.

Syrian regime forces also bombarded al-Seyasa Bridge in the city, using artillery and rocket launchers, but no casualties were reported.
