Russian Foreign Minister calls Ankara to withdraw its troops from Iraq

(IraqiNews.com) The presence of Turkish troops in Iraq is unacceptable, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey lavrov told reporters on Tuesday.
Lavrov said in an press interview followed by IraqiNews.com, “We demand that Turkey withdraw its troops from Iraqi territory,” adding that, “This position is absolutely unacceptable.”
Lavrov questioned why the West has turned a blind eye and did not pay much attention to Ankara’s activities in the region.
