(IraqiNews.com) A British newspaper revealed on Thursday, the decline of sales of the fourth largest tobacco company in the world, attributing this to the presence of ISIS that bans smoking.

International Business Times newspaper quoted in a report the British company ‘Imperial Tobacco’ as saying that, “Sales have declined due to the ISIS organization which bans smoking.”

The newspaper added that, “The company published the results of its data for last year, which showed that there is generally a decline in the consumption of the global tobacco volumes by 5%,” noting that, “It attributed 2% of the total decline to the political and the deteriorating security situation in Iraq as a result of ISIS control on ​​one-third of the country’s territory.”
