State of Law bloc requests inviting Jordanian ambassador to memorial service for Saddam Hussein

(IraqiNews.com) On Saturday, the State of Law bloc asked the Foreign Ministry to call the Jordanian ambassador in Baghdad, on the background of the establishment of a memorial service for the former president of the Iraqi regime, Saddam Hussein, in the Kingdom of Jordan, while stressing that they submitted a memorandum to the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs.

Head of the bloc Ali al-Adeeb said in a press conference held at the Parliament building with the participation of all the State of Law deputies, and followed by IraqiNews.com, “The Foreign Ministry has to invite the Jordanian ambassador in Iraq to the memorial of Saddam Hussein held by a group of trade unions and federations of Jordan, in the presence of Jordanian officials and sponsored by the Kingdom of Jordan.”

Al-Adeeb denounced the celebrations that commemorate the tyrant Saddam Hussein, noting that, “The State of Law bloc has filed a memorandum to the Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs and will be delivered to the Iraqi ambassador in Jordan.”
