Syrian army forces launch offensives on Eastern Ghouta

A source told Qasioun News informed that the Syrian army, backed by the 4th brigade, carried out two military operations on the outskirts of Eastern Ghouta area from Ain Tarma towns and Hosh Dawahra area in Rif Dimashq Province. However, Syrian rebels managed to foil the attacks and shelled several villages and towns in Eastern Ghouta.
Meanwhile, Syrian army troops bombed the villages and towns of Douma, Arbin, Kafrbatna, Madira, Nashabya, Beit Lahm, Jasrin, Hamorya, Hazze, Raihan and Shayfonya.
Furthermore, dozens of rockets fell on the residential neighborhoods in Ain Tarma, causing only material damage to the property.
It is noteworthy that the Syrian army failed in the past few months to achieve any progress in Eastern Ghouta area, while deployed troops in the area.
