Turkish army kills 41 PKK elements in northern Iraq

(IraqiNews.com) The Turkish military announced on Saturday, that 41 elements of the PKK had been killed during the military operations in northern Iraq.
The Turkish army said in a statement published by the Turkish newspaper Today Zaman: “29 elements of the PKK had been killed in aerial bombings on targets belonging to them in Qandil Mountains in northern Iraq,” adding also that, “The army carried out a military operation in Uldira area in the province of Sirnak southeast Turkey, killing 12 element of the PKK.”
