U.S. to send 400 troops to train Syrian rebels

logo_-_the_pentagon( The U.S. military is planning to send more than 400 trainers along with hundreds of U.S. support troops in a train-and-equip mission for moderate Syrian rebels.

Up to 1000 U.S. troops will be deployed to train Syrian moderate rebels to fight the ISIS group in Syria, the Pentagon said Friday.

The American troops will be deployed by early spring at sites outside Syria, located in three countries – Turkey, Qatar and Saudi Arabia – which have offered to host the training program.
