Homs (Syria News) Media sources informed that U.S. troops withdrew from Zakaf military base, on Monday, after an agreement conducted with Russia on the situation of the Syrian Badiyah, Qasioun News reported.

The sources revealed that the U.S. troops withdrew from Zakaf base that is located on the borders of al-Tanaf military base, the most prominent stronghold of the U.S. army in the Syrian Badiyah.

It is noteworthy that British Special Forces have withdrawn from the base, earlier this month, after the Syrian rebels evacuated the area due to Jordanian pressure, while the Syrian opposition denied the withdrawal from the Syrian Badiyah, and affirmed that they will keep fighting the Syrian regime and Islamic State in the area.
