(IraqiNews.com) The UAE launched air strikes against ISIS hideouts from an air base in Jordan, returning to combat missions after suspending air strikes following the detention and execution of the Jordanian pilot Moaz al-Kasasbeh

The General Command of the UAE Armed Forces announced that Emirati F-16 warplanes have carried out air strikes against hideouts for the ISIS group in the ISIS–seized territory, returning to combat missions after suspending air strikes.

The fighters returned safely back to the base after striking their targets, an official statement said.

Noteworthy, the UAE has announced last Saturday, that it will resume its air strikes against the ISIS group militants in Iraq and Syria after the suspension that followed the execution of the Jordanian pilot Moaz al-Kasasbeh.
