165 detainees released by Ministry of Justice, says Karbouli

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Minister of Industry and member of the Committee tasked to follow up the demonstrators’ demands announced that 165 women and men detainees were released by the Ministry of Justice on Thursday morning.

He stated to IraqiNews.com “This is the first part of the released detainees as a result of the efforts of the Seven-Side.”

“14 women detainees were released, three among them were from Baghdad while the rest from the other provinces,” he went on.

“The committee will go on in its performance to accomplish all the demonstrators’ demands,” he concluded.
