(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – On Saturday, Iraqi Foreign Ministry summoned the UAE Ambassador to Baghdad to deliver its official protest against the Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s remarks on al-Hashed al-Shaabi.

The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs spokesman, Ahmed Gamal, said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “The Iraqi Foreign Ministry decided to summon the UAE Ambassador to Baghdad to deliver an official protest memorandum against the remarks of its Foreign Minister regarding al-Hashed al-Shaabi.”

Noteworthy the Information Office of the Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi condemned on Friday the UAE Foreign Minister Abdullah bin Zayed comments on al-Hashed al-Shaabi, while pointed out that al-Hashd al-Shaabi and the security forces expelled ISIS from the Gulf countries.
