(IraqiNews.com) Baghdad – On Thursday, Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi met the Pakistani Minister of Military Production to discuss strengthening the military and security cooperation between the two countries, as well as the war against ISIS, while Islamabad affirmed its readiness to support Iraq in all fields.

Prime Minister information office said in a statement received by IraqiNews.com, “Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi met in his office on Thursday the Pakistani Minister of Military Production Mr. Rana Tanweer and his occupying delegation.”

The statement added, “The two sides discussed strengthening bilateral relations, military and security cooperation, issues of common interest and the exchange of experiences between the two countries, in addition to the war against ISIS.”

The statement also pointed out, “Pakistan affirmed its willingness to support Iraq in all fields, in addition to helping Iraq in its war against the terrorist gangs.”
