Al-Jaafari, Allawi, Chalabi, Abdul-Mahdi agreed to accelerate the formation of the new goverment

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Iraqi National Alliance stressed on Tuesday the need to issue new government in consent with all its members during a meeting which was governed by the INA head, Ibrahim al-Jaafari.

Al-Jaafari, alongside the head of the National Council, Iyad Allawi, the president of the National Congress Party, Ahmad Chalabi and a leader in the Supreme Council, Adel Abdul-Mahdi, sought a form of conformity on the formation of the government.

The meeting resulted in agreement to accelerate the formation of the new government according to decisive steps which will be required urgently to resolve remaining circumstances across the country.

In a statement received by IraqiNews.com, al-Jaafari said that the conferees confirmed to form the new government in accordance with the constitution, and emphasized that radical and prompt changes will be required by the new government once brought to the parliament after resuming talks with other political blocs.
