Baghdad ( MP, Mansour al-Timimi, Member of the State of Law Coalition emphasized that Anbar demonstrators’ demands are against the constitution unlike Basra demonstrators’ demands that are constitutional because they are related to the services.

He stated to Iraqi News ( “Conducting demonstrations is a right ensured by the Iraqi constitution for all people without exception,” noting that “People are the decision makers through the elections in which they nominate their representatives in the government and the parliament.”

“The demonstrators in Anbar called upon demands that contradict the political process that is based on the constitution,” he mentioned, assuring that

“Basra as other southern provinces suffered a lot so they have demands at the current stage,” he concluded.
