Araji calls politicians to leave Esawi’s case for judicial authorities

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The head of Ahrar bloc, Baha al-Araji, called “The politicians to avoid debating the judicial decisions issued against the guards of Finance Minister, Rafi al-Esawi.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “All the political sides must neglect escalation at the current stage to avoid sectarian crisis,” noting that “Esawi’s guards face judicial arrest warrants so we have to leave this issue for the independent judiciary.”

He criticized “The procedures that accompanied the arrest,” noting that “The General Commander of the Armed Forces instructed to punish those who abused the guards.”

“We have to assume our responsibility in avoiding new crises due to the regional critical situation that will affect the situation in Iraq,” he mentioned.

“We have to remember the years of 2006, 2007 that were harsh for all the Iraqi communities due to sectarianism,” he concluded.
