Asadi: personal purposes behind suspending my membership within SLC

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP Hussein al-Asadi of the State of Law Coalition criticized the resolution of suspending his membership within the SLC.

Asadi said “The decision of freezing my membership within the Coalition is a personal issue and outbidding by some MPs that targets my good performance at the Parliament.”

“My attendance to the Parliament is to prove my existence in Iraq where l did not travel to London,” he added noting “Up to now, I did not take any decision to leave the Coalition but the issue is under consideration.”

Earlier, the political commission of the SLC has announced, on last Thursday, suspending the membership of al-Asadi on background of his abuse to the Religious Authority.
