Call for Jihad to be under supervision of government says Sistani UK representative

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Representative of the Religious Authority Grand Ayatollah, Ali al-Sistani, Mortaza Kishmiri, stated that Sistani’s call for the Jihad to be under the supervision of the government.

In his speech on the Eighth Meeting of the Clergymen in UK, Kishmiri said “What Ayatollah Sistani called for is not a Fatwa, but a statement that urges the Iraqis to support the security forces.”

“Sistani’s opinion is to relate the volunteers for the Jihad to the government,” he concluded.
