Barzani source of crises, says Nusaif

Baghdad MP Aliya Nusaif of the Iraqiya Hurra Coalition stressed that the challenges that confront Iraq do not allow thinking of withdrawing confidence from the Prime Minister.

She added in a statement by the media office of the Coalition that “It is unfortunate to hear that some Kurdish leaders are negotiating with members of the Iraqiya Slate to confer bout withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki,” confirming “These attempts do not aim to achieve the public interest but they are simply for personal reasons.”

“Moving in this direction will lead to escalate and aggravate the current tensed situation,” she added noting “The source of creating the current crises is one who is the President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, supported by the IS.”

“These orientations serve the foreign agendas also they meet the US aspirations to re-occupy Iraq once again not only in the disputed areas but in all the Iraqi territories,” Nusaif concluded.

Earlier, certian Source close to the leader of the Iraqiya Slate, Ayad Alawi, has revealed about negotiations being conducted currently between the President, Jalal Talabani and the President of Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, to re-launch the request of withdrawing confidence from the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki.

It is worth mentioning that the last few days witnessed an escalation in the tension between Baghdad and Erbil on the background of the recent events that took place in Tuz Khormato district of Salah il-Din province on last Friday when elements from Dijla Operations Command clashed with bodyguards of a Kurdish figure in Tikrit city, capital of Salah il-Din resulted in killing a civilian and injuring a number of Dijla OC’s elements.
