Bazoni accuses government of hurdling performance of PCs

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Jawad al-Bazoni, of the Iraqi National Alliance accused the government of hurdling the performance of the Provincial Councils.

He stated to IraqiNews.com “The Governors and the PCs have the right to practice their wide authorities granted for them by law.”

“Some Ministries will be cancelled within the next two years to transfer their authorities to the provinces,” he added.

“We regret the impediments set by the government to hinder the PCs from practicing their roles,” he mentioned.

“The reality proved the failure of the central government in settling the problems of the provinces,” he concluded.
