BOC: Arbaeen security plan resulted in killing 17 terrorists, defusing 32 IEDs, car bomb

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) Baghdad Operations Command announced that the security plan set for the Arbaeen pilgrimage resulted in killing 17 terrorists, defusing 32 Improvised Explosive Devices and a car bomb.

A statement by BOC received by IraqiNews.com cited “BOC set a plan to secure the pilgrims of the Arbaeen pilgrimage that resulted in killing 17 of the terrorists.”

“The plan also resulted in defusing a car bomb and 32 IEDs in addition to a number of the Katusha rockets and mortar shells,” the statement added, noting that “Seven shelters of the terrorists were destroyed as well.”
