Urgent – Parliament session lifted for one hour

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Parliament session of Tuesday was lifted due to the heated statements among the MPs of the State of Law Coalition and the MPs of al-Ahrar bloc on the background of the statements of MP, Ahmed al-Alwani, of the Iraqiya Slate against the Shiite.

A parliamentary source stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) on Tuesday “The parliament Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi, agreed on the suggestion of the head of the Iraqiya Bloc, Salman al-Jumaili, over forming an investigation committee over Alwani’s statement where most of the blocs voted on this suggestion except the SLC.”

“MPs, Ali al-Shilah and Kamal al-Sa’adi, of the SLC attacked al-Ahrar bloc for voting on this suggestion where MPs, Uday Awad and Ali al-Timimi, of al -Ahrar bloc replied to them and clashed by hands,” the source concluded.
