Conference held in Salah-il-Din to denounce sectarian calls

Salah-il-Din (IraqiNews.com) A conference was held on Monday in Is’haqi district in Salah-il-Din province to denounce calls for dividing Iraq and reject the calls for formation of the tribal army, expressing the support for the Iraqi security institutions to save the blood of innocent people.

The reporter of Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) mentioned that “The conference was held in Is’haqi district with the presence of the commander of Samara operations command, Major General, Sabah al-Fatlawi, a number of security leaders and notables and tribal sheikhs, who confirmed during the conference their rejection for the calls to form the tribal army and the calls for dividing Iraq and announced their support for security institutions in their task to save the blood of innocent Iraqis.”

He added that “The commander of Samara, stressed in his speech during the conference, to support the security departments and the rejection for calls to ignite the fire of sectarian strife and destabilize security in the province,” emphasizing “the necessity of coordination among tribal elders in their fight against the armed groups.”
