Crisis within IS behind its withdrawal from parliament session, says Batiekh

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The White bloc emphasized that the crisis within the Iraqiya Slate is behind its withdrawal from some of the parliament sessions.

The Secretary General of the White bloc, Jamal al-Batiekh, stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “At this stage, we need to consolidate all political blocs’ efforts to eliminate the crisis and to respond to the demonstrator’s demands.”

“Refusal of attending some parliament sessions by the IS is a negative point against the Slate,” he added.

“We call the IS to attend all the parliament session to discuss the demonstrators’ demands to avoid complicating the situation more because our people in Anbar and other provinces need us to keep away from disputes to serve them,” he continued.

“We must relieve the tensions and to avoid adopting weapon and fundamentalism to sustain national interest,” he concluded.
