Diwaniyah Governor stresses necessity of independence of judiciary

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The Governor of Diwaniyah province, Ammar al-Madani, stressed the necessity of the independence of the judiciary.

A statement by the Governorate of Diwaniyah received by IraqiNews.com cited “Madani received the head of Diwaniyah Court and the judicial delegation on the occasion of receiving his post as Diwaniyah Governor where he stressed the necessity of the adherence of the judiciary to the neutralism and not to ally with any side.”

“He also stressed the necessity of no adhering to the Executive and Legislative Authorities while issuing decisions by the judiciary in order to keep the judiciary independent and to achieve justice,” the statement concluded.
