Dori warns from arresting demonstrators’ spokesperson in Anbar

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Etab al-Dori, of the Iraqiya Slate warned the government from arresting the spokesperson of the government, Saed al-Lafi, in order to “Preserve the stability in Iraq.”

In a press statement received by IraqiNews.com, she said “Lafi is a national figure for the demonstrators and arresting him represents an offense to the demonstrators which may result in unexpected results.”

Some media outlets stated that a special security force raided Lafi’s residence on last Wednesday to arrest him according to a judicial warrant, but the demonstrators helped him to escape to the demonstrations area to join the demonstrators.
