Early elections to be adopted if blocs hinder political reforms, says MP

Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Abdul Salam al-Maliki, of the State of Law Coalition confirmed that “The SLC to adopt the option of conducting early elections in case the political blocs hinder the political reforms and continue creating crises.”

He stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) “We have this option in consideration but we wish some blocs to support the national partnership and the government in conducting the reforms.”

“If the blocs rejected holding the national meeting to settle the disputes through the dialogue on the basis of the constitution, we will exert our efforts to accomplish this option,” he added.

He called “The political blocs support the reforms to eliminate the crisis and to consolidate the national interests.”
